Marjorie noticed that James had come into work upset, he seemed frustrated and aggressive. Instead of getting angry at James's disruptive behavior. Marjorie thought about why he might be acting this way. She remembered that James had come back from a long weekend where he was going to visit his father and he hadn't seen in a decade. She asked him if he would join her in her office to discuss how he was doing. She asked how meeting his father had gone, and he began to cry.
