There's a couple different ways you could go about finding that G. how I do it is I know where g is on the sixth string. And then I go up to up two frets and over to string, this octave here. That's how I find them. Another way is if you know the notes if you know the fourth strings, D, the nesco, D, E, F, G, that's another way to find it as well.
