Hi, my name is Dennis Oakley, and I'm going to be your guide through the key things that you need to know, as a startup entrepreneur startup See, leading your own business. It's great, you've got the ideas, you know where you want to go. But execution is everything. And I've seen so many startups over the 20 years that I've been a startup founder, CEO, executive mentor, Coach, what have you, that have just really killed businesses that kill hopes they've killed dreams, and that made life a lot more difficult than they really had to be. So in this golf course, startup CEO 101. I'm going to go through some of the key things that you need to know as a startup CEO, and help you guide you through what you need to do so that you are able to deliver the goods and you're able to achieve the goals that you've set out for yourself a little bit of background about myself.

I'm from England, originally, I went out to Southeast Asia 15 years ago with my own startup, and I grew that we had some problems I had to pivot we pivoted, we pivoted regrouped again. I went, I did two or three more startups. I've worked then worked for VC back startups in food delivery. And I've been doing startup consultancy. Now I'm back in London, working as head of growth for a back prop tech company. So I've got a lot of experience.

I've also picked up an MBA along the way, and I don't know why. But I did a philosophy degree to start off with. So there's a lot of experience there. And it's all at your hands through this course.
