If you're wearing bright stripes on camera, it can be very distracting. often they'll cause an effect called strobing, which is very off putting to the viewer. Now you may be saying something important but the viewer is looking at your jacket and what it's doing rather than listening to what you have to say a bit like the untidy here example.
