DESCRIPTION: In the previous lesson we have looked at the ideal situation to thrive for. Our current situation is far from ideal. On a minority of young people have the self empowerment to develop themselves optimally in this chaotic and harsh environment that also involves the usage of social media. Also very few parents have the time, awareness and tools to be able to adopt the supportive embedding needed to guide the younger generation through the labyrinth of emotional turmoils caused by life itself and social media specifically. 
It is therefore of great importance to structure safety measures around our children. The first step is alertness. We cannot deprive them from these network services. We can try to educate them and create safety nets around them in case things go wrong. As adults we need to understand their growing up phases and accept that our darlings can sometimes be victime of not so darlings, or be the not so darling themselves.
