Hello guys, rushing from performance mantra. And before we start today, I have a question for you guys. What is common between the founder of the biggest social media company, arguably the best basketball player of all time, and Captain jack Sparrow? Today, I wish to guide you through the process of finding if University is right for you. As for the question I asked earlier, I'm pretty sure you figured out I was talking about Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, LeBron James, no introduction needed, and Johnny Depp none of them finished university. In fact, two of them didn't even start University.

On the flip side, the one thing common between Oscar winning actress Natalie Portman, premier league champions league in World Cup winner Kwan Mata and the man single handedly responsible for privatizing the space travel industry. Ilan Musk was university degree all of them As graduate students, the point I am trying to make here is that we can find ridiculously successful people across all professions with or even without a university degree. Today, we are under tremendous pressure from the society, from our parents. Add to that the pressure we put on ourselves to be successful. The status quo is that you need education or a university degree to be successful in life. But we never question this.

Let me break it to you guys. Having a university degree by itself does not make you employable anymore. Ironically, one of the graduates I mentioned about Elon Musk was caught saying in an interview, and I quote, there is no need for a university degree at all, or even High School. Today, we are not judged on our university degree, but the skills we possess. Yes University still One of the best places to develop these skills. Today, I wish to guide you through the questions we should be asking ourselves to make the ever important decision to university or not to university.

Does University provide an environment to actually develop these interests and passions to a level where you can actually earn some income? The next thing that you should be thinking about is that are you good at exams? If so, what kind of exams are you good at? Keeping this in mind, I suggest you do the most basic thing that is make a pros and cons list. Don't worry about the ridiculous tuition. Some countries charge just for your university degrees.

I will explain you how to avoid that later in this course. I suggest you pause the video here and go to the worksheet and fill the pros and the cons list. Just do it right now. Don't tell yourself you'll do it later. Pause the video go ahead fill this up. Now that you have done the exercise, it's time to make a decision.

I understand it is one of the most difficult decisions you will take in your life. But now is the time to do it. Go ahead sleep on it, but take a decision. Once you have taken the decision, I suggest you write it down in the worksheet and keep this worksheet with you. Your comes the fun part. Make sure you have this in a written format.

And when you are in a sad mood or even in hyper excited happy mode, if you look at the decision, do you feel the same way? Are you happy with your decision, not with your mood with the decision and if you are about drinking age, I suggest you take a look at this sheet after a couple of beers. Make sure you feel the same way after a couple of weeks. What we are trying to do here is take the emotion and your state of mind out of the picture and try and make an objective decision. Please do this. It is by far one of the most important steps in your decision making process.

I hope this helped you. And next time I will explain one of my favorite parts. How to pay absolutely no tuition for education.
