Hi, guys, it's can be a real Quincy collymore of absolute realization, coaching and healing. And you are in the archangels certification course. This is module three, section six. And we're talking today about powerful listening. Yep. Powerful listening.

I said that twice, right? Here's what happens. We think we hear people when we listen to them a lot of the times, in that, if I say something to you right now, yes, you hear the words that are coming out of my mouth. And you may hear a specific meaning to the words that are coming out of my mouth as well. The words are the words and they're factual. They come out as words and if I write them down, it will be that way.

But the meaning comes from a lot of things that comes from the way I handle my body. The way I position my face, whether I smile or I'm serious, and all these different things, right. So there are many different meanings that can be interpreted in the way That we would listen to a person or observe a person because that's listening to right body language and all that body language is communication, all that is communication. And so, what we're really talking about in powerful listening is getting to the core of what we are really listening to where we are listening from. Notice I said from not what we are listening for or anything like that, which is part of it, but I said From where are we listening from? Right, as well as how we are really listening to the person or the situation.

Okay. So, in terms of the actual listening process, usually what happens is, a person says something, and we interpret this and we take the information from that based on our intelligence based on our past interaction and based on what we know that things mean, okay. But that may not be the only way to interpret it. In fact, I can guarantee you, that's not the only way to interpret it because there are seven billion people on the planet, you could have separate 7 billion different interpretations of the same exact thing. Right? And ice cream could fall and someone can be like, Oh, he threw the ice cream on the ground because he was angry and make up a big story about it when it could have just slipped.

That's another interpretation. And there are so many different interpretations, but at the end of it, the ice cream fell. That's all it really happened. Right? So in listening, we want to pay particular attention to what we're adding, right? to what's actually occurring.

Right? And then we want to dissolve that because we want to be able to hear exactly what's happening. And that's what we're getting to impactful listening. Now, if someone speaks to you, and they're speaking to you, directly powerful is not listening looks like this. Let's start with not listening. Someone says to you, you know, sometimes I feel that you just don't care and you know, someone can listen to that statement.

Mostly likely a man because it's Usually women that say that's a man, right, okay, but someone can listen to that statement and be like well, she said, and you make it up this way as well right? You
