Brainstorming as the image says, your mind needs to block my nice thought thinking out of the box ative ideas to solve either an issue or to identify what should be the future course of action for an organization or to even identify what are what kind of projects that we as an organization to start. So, we have a brainstorming it generates as many ideas as possible, no idea is bad, no idea. There is no way that you are not going to discuss the idea. You need to discuss the merits and demerits of every idea and then you can only decide whether this idea is viable or has the capacity or has the NF boards to go into the next phase of identifying or selecting further or prioritizing. So, when we are using brainstorming we have multiple latest multiple other techniques, which could actually follow like a affinity diagram or a mind map diagram to move and to find get the final result.

So, first and foremost a pm book reference it is in 4.1 which is develop project charter develop project management plan, collect requirements listening, listening, listening, identifying the problem, what should be the part of the requirement, what should not be part of the requirement, plan quality management, identify risk risk is very important. This is about listening. No risk is bad. No human is Gradually to listen a lot when you are actually talking about risk, risk risk, everything could be a risk on your project and then you will only identify based on the impact analysis whether the risk will qualify for the further investigation analysis or not based on the impact analysis, then you have an identified stakeholder It is very very important when you are actually talking about stakeholder this brainstorming might be having might be happening within your team to actually identify whom we should be considering at what stage what who who is important and how we are going to identify who are the stakeholders.

So, brainstorming is so very important that in this sessions, you are actually free of any pressure and you are open to share any idea because no idea will be 10 will be used or considered against You that what if the marriage is very bad or the marriage the merits are very good or sorry demerits are too many Americans are very few No, it is not going to happen these are not going to be used against you. That is why brainstorming is very important. And this is why the moderator of a brainstorming sessions are very important because they have to maintain this quorum often of the meeting of the session that nobody starts laughing or nobody feels small or nobody feels that their people are not giving enough thought or enough air to his idea to generate multiple ideas and options in a facilitated group in short period without any criticism.

All ideas are good identify the problem or the goal or outcome of the session that we are actually looking into. then generate ideas, ideas, ideas, log all the ideas at this point you are not actually Discussing merits and demerits, you may go into the discussing at the later stage when you have grouped them or you have voted them or you you want to use Delphi technique or so many other things, then then you start celebrating it, celebrating it that analyze and then finally prioritized it. But first of all you need to log all the ideas so, that when the ideas are there, then you can start discussing about the merits or demerits analysis, whether they are the ideas that you will have given or we have collected is are still aligned with the organization goals and missions and vision. Then, there are obviously multiple variants we are in our 21st century and so, many new things have happened.

The lifestyle is completely different technology has changed everything Same is the case here. Now, we have in between brain storming and even an electronic brainstorming. Electronic brainstorming permit a large number of ideas together very quickly because there is no turn taking people can respond as soon as possible they see other ideas and they and they can and the energy can build on this self to everybody just telling the ideas through electronics, some general selling some there are some challenges obviously when you're talking about electronic brainstorming like anonymous it may lead to disrespectful interactions. And this is what you could see when you are talking on Facebook or when you are discussing and forums on WhatsApp because people do not know that who is on the other side and they sometimes go beyond the lines with they shouldn't wish they would not and they would they would not pass if they know the person themselves.

And this is the this is the challenge that we have when we are communicating anonymously I mean, anonymously in terms of Yes, I know I see the name Mr. XYZ but I don't know him I don't have a rapport with him I don't see him that Who is this person I don't know his background and and how he communicates entries I only read one line and this reading offline or other reading of the sentences as per you asked how I want to need it, but advantages are way more like a longer time, no turn taking large gathering more reflection, people can come in and come back a bit all this thing can happen. brainstorming will be can be used with focus group as I told you start with the brainstorming then make an affinity diagram and then send it to assigning it to a specific focus group so that you can create discuss and give us the feedback and then you can use it for the nominal group technique or nominal group technique is about prioritization.

It is about on giving the boards where people don't Don't know which this nominal group technique is largely used for privatization. So this is people will be voting for the ideas which is in favor with but nobody could pressurize anybody in the one vote everybody counts as as one vote. So the affinity process is often used to group idea by generating by brainstorming. This is your brainstorming collective ideas, creative ideas. This is where I close my discussion on brainstorming.
