Before you start the course please make sure that you have all the contents of the course ready. Each element will have its own documents which you can print. You also need a black and a red pencil, a stopwatch, there will be one on your cell phone, and of course, a recording device. The easiest way to record yourself is on your smartphone if you have that option. You can also download Audacity. This is a free recording software and easy to use.

During the course, you will have the choice to read printed scripts, or read it from the autocue or teleprompter, which may seem a little scary, but it really is not much different from reading from a sheet of paper. It will also be very Practice should you ever need to read an autocue in front of an audience. Make sure you go through each element on its own and practice it. Listen back to your recordings throughout the course. Be critical and honest with yourself. You can't make progress unless you recognize what's wrong.

In order for me to check your progress, I will need a recording of how you read before you start the course. I need you to read and record the before scripts and keep them to one side until you've gone through the entire course. And you've practiced for two weeks for about 20 minutes a day. Before we move on Please make sure you have put the recordings you've just made to one side. Please keep all other recordings you make during this course. They will be important later on.

I suggest that you listen to them when you finish the course and you'll hear a marked improvement.
