Pull up top of spine exercises. Day three stretch. Building on the same concepts as last week. by stretching certain muscles in the neck. We help rebalance the structure, reducing muscle tension and re lengthening the tissue. To help understand this further, we can use suspension bridges for analogy.

Imagine the Golden Gate Bridge and how the wires Connect either side of the single column. Suppose that one foggy afternoon the wires on one side of the column decided to shorten see figure 2d. Picture how this would pull the column towards the shorter side. As a result, extra tension could be created in three important areas. One, the attachment points at either end of the wire to the column which the wires connect to three the bridges a whole thicker two D wires of the Golden Gate Bridge. Which is shorten would cause tension in the structure.

Step one. As the wires shorten, they pull the central column to the right. Step two wires lengthen on the left side. To compensate for the shortening of the right. Alternatively, it might try compensating for the imbalance by lengthening the opposing wires and yielding to the tensile forces of the shorter side. In the short term, this will reduce strain and tension because there is less resistance of the opposing wires. However, this won't help the column in the Long term because there is still an excessive amount of tension on one side. So in a final attempt, the opposing wires might tighten and hold as a protective mechanism to help keep the column upright and avoid potential damage to the bridge. Unfortunately, this solution still weakens the bridge should a storm arise, the structure would now be rigid and less adaptable than in the original design.
