Now the first place to get started inside of this best selling author sales funnel is really just getting a perspective and idea of how the sales funnel is going to be set up. So I'm just going to quickly draw it out for you. So that way you can get an idea of what this funnel will look like. Most oftentimes, what we're going to want to have is an opt in page, it's something where you have something written, maybe there's an image, something someone can maybe play, there's a reason that they're going to end up joining and submitting their emails in here. And that's kind of the whole point and basis behind everything that you're doing in here is you're just trying to build up a reason of why someone should sign up and input their email address so that you can gain a larger list. I'm going to start talking about why email lists and email addresses are important.

There's a lot of people that online, I see it myself, the money is in the list. We're going to talk a little bit more about why now That's true, and how that comes into play with you as an author producing a physical book or even non physical sometimes if you're a Kindle publisher, that will end up translating into a long term business that produces longevity, that allows you to then market to those individuals, whether platforms come and platforms go, you'll always have your following the ideas would be something like maybe Stephen King. He's a very famous writer, he's obviously done a lot of books. So he has a large following behind which book you enjoy the most, you know, there's a lot of crowds that he assimilates to. But the big thing behind that also is is that whenever he goes out and publishes, he also has an email list and he has other publishers that have lists that anytime he's able to contact and communicate with on a whim and that's exactly what email does for you.

It allows you to get people to opt in, and then you can take that email address and you can send emails to them anytime that you want in the future. And that's obviously a very cost efficient, you know, for every thousand emails you're going to send, it may end up costing you somewhere in the range of maybe 50 cents, you know, something like that. But with that being said, that's a large reach of people that you can market to. And the ROI is extremely efficient. And I'm talking 50 cents for, you know, very white label all types of servers, you can get it down to 10 cents for every thousand cents, five cents, depending on what you use for user. All I'm saying is that email has the biggest ROI of anything that you're going to use online.

So as an author, you need to make sure that you leverage every portion of that ROI, meaning returns on investment. So if I put $1 in, I'm able to send out you know, 10 20,000 emails one day, and I get one or two people that end up purchasing anything, even my book, just one book, that's it, nothing else then I would have made a profit because I maybe spent, you know, like I said, to send out 10 20,000 emails cost me a buck, maybe two bucks. And I got someone to buy my book. And that book was worth $20 for the sale and I make eight bucks profit. So you know, right there, I made $6 off of that, of course, we're going to be showing you even further how to communicate with your audience that you can have great conversion rates, and obviously upsell additional items.

So what you're going to have here is what I call a bridge page. And this bridge, just gets people in the motion of, Hey, you know, you opted in for something maybe it was the first chapter of my book, or maybe it was a little bit of information, whatever it was, you know, may even been a video or something, we'll kind of dive into what it takes to create these, each of these pages. A bridge is just saying, you know, thank you for what you did. Now, all I want you to do is maybe click this button here and it's going to take you to a special offer that I have or it may be redirect itself automatically after a specific time. So there may be like a little timer. And you know, it'll say, preferably I do, you know, something like two seconds.

And just like that, boom, it redirects them over. And then they end up at the sales page. So the sales page is obviously what they came here for this was everything, you're probably going to have maybe a video here that's gonna play something. Maybe some testimonials that people who have read the book or used something that you talked about some material there and they can check out. Once they do that, what I usually have, even on the sales page, I'm going to talk about that there's something in between. That's right here on that same order form, you know, once they're ready to check out, bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla, there's a little box that I'm going to have here.

And all they do is check that and they would get the audiobook version. This is called an order form bump. So it's on the order form already at the sales page as they're invited. putting their information to check out. And it's just you know, saying Hey, would you like to upgrade your order and get an additional, you know, while this may only be 10 bucks, this right here, then says Hey, get the audiobook version for 37. Now we have a $47 Mark, right on that one sales page, then what I often suggest, and this is called one time offers, so you're gonna have Oto one Oto two, and then once you get over to this portion over here, this is a what I call the true tip, the thank you page.

So this is you know, kind of get your materials right here. Here's this, here's this if you bought that, etc. So you get all of that. So Oto one probably again going to be a video to to a video I'm going to show you how to Talk about these things, how to structure these upsells all of this. So we're going to be getting into a whole slew of different stuff, you can understand how this is a big course Why say, you know, if anything, if you don't enjoy all this material already and how I'm structuring out because I'm kind of, you know, giving you the behind the scenes, a lot of people, they don't actually see past this, most people just do this. And they go, Oh, okay, that's all it takes to succeed.

But there's a lot more it's after the things behind the scenes. And this right here, this tip is then going to lead to other additional sales funnels that come over and start doing this, you know, all the way over ba ba, ba, ba Ba, all the way over there. So there's a lot of things that are going to be going on and I'm going to be discussing all this so I say you know, hold off the reviews, if anything, if you enjoyed it already do leave a five star. So inside this, a whole sequence of events. The main thing that's occurring is right here, a lot of people don't see these One time offers I'm going to show you how to structure them how to be able to ask for something additional. And you're probably thinking, well, Zack, I only have a book, you know, maybe I'll even have my book, I'm just gonna write something, let me tell you, it's very easy to create content where you can upsell additional things.

And they don't necessarily have to be your products, even nonetheless, with Click Funnels, which is what I suggest to use. And we'll talk more about that there's a lot to cover. But within that, by itself, using Click Funnels, you can be an affiliate for other products, and people can check out and use those links to check out. So it's just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, now they will have to re enter their information because they're checking out at a different processor or a different server than your own. So that obviously will lower conversion rates if you can. I'm going to talk about a little bit about how to create your own products and very quickly what they should be inside the structural layout of one time offers or upsells.

But do make sure that it's just something simple. It doesn't have to be too complex, you know. record yourself doing something where you're just teaching, you know, a through B through C doesn't have to be A through Z, you know the entire alphabet, you have to be a master. don't overwhelm yourself with trying to make people masters something within your upsells. All they have to do is they have to just learning the basics in order to get success, a lot of people that you're going to be talking to selling to anything, even if you are an author, just an author who only writes and does that you can sell other books, or you can even sell, you know, Hey, have you yourself ever wanted to be an author like me? Do you enjoy my works?

If so, I could teach you how to publish your first book, you know, self publishing, and you just have kind of like a checklist and it could be a checklist of you know, 50 things and that's worth 37 $47 because you're thinking to yourself, boy, if I had that when I made my first book, I would have paid $47 to save all those weeks and times, you know, did you get your ESPN? Did you get enough of them? Did you No register everything Did you get copyrights Did you oh my goodness, there's so many things to cover. So there's all types of things as an author that you can upsell, whether it be checklists on how to be an author, other books that you've already written, you know, videos, if you are selling something like you're an author, but you're you're an author about a specific product or niche, I talk about business and I've just published a book to become more recognized that by itself, so you have other products already maybe video series that you can sell things like that.

So just get things within line and we'll talk about that structuring. But this is where you make more of your money because right here, you're not gonna make six figures a year. In fact, with my book, I lose you know, almost Gosh, Five, Six Figure because I'm putting out and it cost me about $5 to do a free plus shipping to get this book out to somebody. Now, with that being said, once I push people through, it's an easy thing to say yes to a free book where all you have to do is pay the shipping to get it to you. People love the physical Then it's easy to move over and go, Well, I love the audiobook version, you know, I'd love to hear the author talking present, hey, you don't even need to do the audiobook version yourself, you could go over to a website, like Fiverr and just hire someone to do the audiobook version for yourself, they'll contract out may cost a few hundred dollars, but it's worth it depending on how big your book is, you know, something like mine, it would take seven hours so I had to pay someone, you know if I wanted to, I did it myself.

But if I wanted to 300 pages took about seven hours, seven and a half hours to do an audiobook version unabridged. And I would have paid someone about $400 to do that. Now, mind you, that it's an awesome, you know, thing to have when you have a physical book to have the audio version because people just say yes to that like 25% one out of every four people say yes to that. Then you got your upsells over here and you know that's additional money and here's even more money right over here. So all these things and then this tip Page actually talks about maybe other books. And we'll, I'll show you how to structure this as well.

So the again, you're leading on to other sales funnels and other things where you have other products. And this is what makes your simple front end book, right? And I'm going to show you kind of why it's important to email and you know, how to structure all those things, those emails so that you can communicate effectively with your audience. So that, you know, only 1% of people right here are going to end up buying on the sales page right away. But then it's probably gonna move up to about 5%. Once you email people and it's this constant contact of driving them to that sales page that makes all of the difference. And that's what this is all about is remarketing to your audience, because it's not that they're gonna buy right away. It's that they'll buy eventually.

And that's where the money's at.
