DESCRIPTION: In this module, we will be focusing on the throat. Our throat is where we express from. People who feel themselves &ldquo;blocked at the throat&rdquo; struggle to speak up when they know that they need to. But there is another way that this sense of being blocked at the throat can manifest. That is when we speak a lot, but with the aim of trying to project a certain image of ourselves into the minds of others.
It&rsquo;s rather as though our life has been hijacked by our social media avatar and now we are only using thinking and speaking to try and convey certain impressions in others about who we are. Underneath this lurks a deep fear to allow ourselves to simply be as we are. Narcissists learned as kids that who they naturally were, with all the feelings and bad thoughts, was not okay. They learned that only certain aspects of them were okay. Perhaps their caregivers rewarded them for behaviors deemed &ldquo;good,&rdquo; and doled out punishment for those deemed...
