DESCRIPTION: Even those with no history of body image struggles might experience it during pregnancy. There are many layers and phases to it and I am by no means the most qualified to speak to it but I do want to recognize that it is a really common thing to go through. You are not alone. It&rsquo;s common to feel really down on yourself when you feel like crap in the first trimester. The inability to exercise and the likely desire to only eat taco bell can make you feel like you are lazy and gaining weight too early in your pregnancy. Then there is the phase when you don&rsquo;t look pregnant but it starts getting harder to fit into your clothes. It mostly bloats and the baby starts to take up space but for you, it may feel like you look as though you have had a few too many burritos. It's even harder when you still aren&rsquo;t wanting to tell anybody that you are pregnant because it's still early on.
