DESCRIPTION: I think belts should be used in all pregnancies during the second to third trimester to assist the body in holding up that bowling ball of a belly. The brace belt is my favorite for belly support. This takes a bit of the load off the abdominals and lowers the back. The V2 provides some pelvic pressure which can take a bit of the weight off the pelvic floor. And the serial SI joint belt helps stabilize the SI joint. I believe all belts assist the body in a positive way so you don’t need to have symptoms to wear them but they become necessary when symptoms do arise. The brace belt can help with back pain, O-ligament pain, abdominal pain, and pelvic pain. The V2 can help with the feeling of pressure, pelvic pain, hemorrhoids, varicosities, and pelvic swelling. And the Serola SI joint belt specifically helps with pain on one side of the sacrum or pubic symphysis pain.
