This makes it even more important to know what is considered a sign of alarm or outside of normal that warrants a message or a visit to your doctor or midwife. Here they are:

Fever &gt;100.4
Vaginal bleeding.
Persistent or worsening headache.
Blurred vision.
Dizziness or fainting.&nbsp;
Too weak to get out of bed.
Severe abdominal pain.
Extreme swelling in hands or face.
Swelling, redness, heat, and pain in the leg or arm.
A gush of watery discharge from the vagina.
Decreased fetal movement.
Nausea and vomiting prohibit the intake of nutrients or cause weight loss.
Increased pelvic pressure early in pregnancy.
Burning with urination.
Worsening anxiety or depression.
Inability to fall asleep.
Thoughts about harming yourself?
Overwhelming fatigue.
Trouble breathing or pain in the chest.
Any symptom that concerns you.
