For a better understanding of the risk assessment process, we propose a simple practical situation, in which we apply a risk assessment methodology table.
Here&rsquo;s what we have:

A room on the second floor of a building of historical value, located in an urban center;
Natural and artificial lighting, and adequate and stable relative humidity and temperature levels;
In this room, we have porcelain, properly stored in a glass case and tapestries.

How can we assess the risk of these objects?
Starting from the analysis of the conditions and on the basis of the risk assessment table, using a scale from 1 to 5 (5 being for higher-risk cases and 1 for the lower risk cases), we consider:
