Welcome back. In this lecture, we will discuss the simple self directed goal setting system. When you complete this lecture, you will understand how to start completing actions towards your goal. So, in this simple self directed goal setting system, ask yourself to decide exactly what you want and write it down on a piece of paper. I've said that before, I'll say it again, write it down. list all the real reasons feelings emotions you have about the goal.

Determine and record the expected obstacles that could come in your way on another call, and list the habits and attitudes you must change. outline your plan to achieve your goal. Create a schedule to put your plan into action. Start immediately to complete a small action towards your goal. Ask As you complete one action begin another until all actions are completed and never reach your current goal without setting another higher goal. Lastly, never quit.

Always move towards your goal especially when obstacles get in your way. So self directed affirmation statement. To help you reach your goals we suggest using a self directed affirmation statement. This is a paragraph written in first person tense that describes a person's goal and how they reach that goal. It also includes all the feelings any emotions you have about the goal, a plan to reach the goal and any habits or attitudes affecting the goal. It is read out loud repeatedly causing your self image to change.

As your self image changes, you will become that person described in the self directed affirmations. statement, your performance now will be subconsciously improved permanently. There are only two possible outcomes with this technique, you will become the person that you want to, or you will end up quitting and continue the same results. As you have in the past. It is that simple. You have to also understand that using the self directed affirmation statement, it's not something that is going to occur today.

It's something that you have to repeat and repeat and repeat until you have subconsciously move that affirmation statement into your head so that it can't be removed. When your self image changes, your performance will change along with that result. So there are four important tasks. You must be willing to undergo change and move beyond your comfort zone. You must identify the habits and attitudes that you need to change You can set up a new self image that is in conflict with your old one, a more positive one and replace it. You must adopt this new positive self image.

Remember, nothing is going to change unless you change. In this lecture, we discussed the simple self directed goal setting system and the self directed affirmation statement.
