In this lecture, we will ask some questions about your current and future options, so that you can write them down and move closer to reaching your goal that you said in the first part of this exercise. So when you complete this lecture, you will understand what questions you need to ask yourself to create a better understanding of your options. So here's the option questions again. Now, again, I want you to think about the one goal that we're talking about and the different realities that you've put around that goal in your thinking. And then take that goal and look at the options that you have. So what could I do to move myself one step forward to achieving this goal?
What are all the different ways I could approach this? And what else could I do? What if I knew I couldn't fail? What would I do to attain this goal? If I could think about three more things, what would they be? What else could I do?
What else? Anything else? And what's next? What could be the first step that I take? So these are all options that you need to consider when you're looking at your goal. additional option questions to ask yourself are who else might be able to help me?
What would happen if I did nothing? What has worked for me before with other goals? How could I do more of that towards this goal? What do I say? What would I suggest to a friend in a similar situation? What would happen if I did that activity?
What is the hardest, most challenging part of that for me? What an advice would I give a friend about the challenge? What would I gain or lose by doing or saying that? If somebody did or said that to me, what would I think about? What would happen next? What are the best or worst things that can happen with this option?
And which option do I feel ready to act on on a scale of one to 10? What am I going to take that action? So in this lecture, we've asked some questions around your current options, and you wrote them down. In the next section will build upon this process by looking at the various actions and will statements that you can make. See you in the next video.
