Now is the time to pick the best job/career for you.
Once you have completed the initial job brainstorming, the next step is to evaluate your options, and ask yourself: “Out of all of these possibilities, what do I really want to do for a living?” This is the time to begin to pass judgment on your previous brainstorming session. This is the beginning of the funneling process. Just like you would use a funnel to pour a large amount of liquid into a small container, it is now time to use a funnel to take a large number of job opportunities and consolidate them into a manageable amount of options that you can target.
