Welcome to thought engineering one on one, I'm so pleased you made the decision to invest in yourself, your knowledge and your skills as a as an individual and a business leader. I assure you it is an investment in every sense of the word. It is my sincere intention to empower you with the most commanding knowledge, principles and theories to dramatically impact your ability to influence and accelerate your achievement of real wealth, abundance and freedom. Much of what I will be sharing with you in this program applies not only to your business, but just as importantly to your life. So please be mindful of how you can apply this knowledge, therefore benefit Also, I'd like to start by sharing with you a short story. In 1920, a German man called ugl, Harrigan, and yes, that is a mouthful move to Japan to begin training in judo, the Japanese martial art of archery.
Now Haribo was taught by legendary Judo master named our Kenzo Yes, another metaphor. Kenzo. His method of training, however, involved beginners mastering the fundamentals of archery before attempting to shoot at a real target, and he took this method to the absolute extreme. For the first four years, the student hair Eagle was only allowed to shoot it a roll of straw just seven feet away, when it was finally led to shoot it actual targets at the far end of the practice hole. His performance was pretty tragic. The arrow is flow of course and he became more and more disheartened with every shot.
He took Now, Paragon was convinced that his problem was poor aim. But Kenzo told him that it wasn't whether you aim correctly, but how you approach the goal that determined the outcome. You're you you achieved. Now frustrated with this comment. Harry will then share it to his teacher then you want to be able to hit it blindfolded. Kenza gently replied.
Okay, come and see me this evening. Now, after not had fallen, the two men returned to the courtyard where the practice Hall was, and in complete darkness, Kenza, the artery Master, settled into his foreign states drew the bowstring tight and fired the first arrow into the darkness. Now Heroku would light a right, I knew from the sound that he did hit the target. Now, immediately, Kenzo drew a second arrow and fired again, in his book Zen in the art of archery. Heroku wrote this, and I'm going to Read it because it's a quote and I don't want to get it wrong. When I switched on the light over the target stand, I discovered To my amazement that the first arrow was lodged in the middle of the black, while the second arrow had splinted, the butt of the first and plowed through the shaft before embedding itself.
Beside it. You see, the master Archer Kenzo was so mindful of the process that led to the accurate shot that he was able to replicate, replicate the exact series of internal movements, even without seeing the external target his process. Hence, his theory was so predictable, that he could rely upon it to deliver him the result he required every single time. And this is the ultimate aim of thought engineering to place you in a position of ultimate performance at all times to learn proven behaviors, actions, reactions that produce predictable and consistent positive outcomes that you can rely upon to deliver you optimal results. Now, from this position, a number of key number of key indicators will begin to appear, you will begin to move with incredible velocity and accuracy. Your decision making processes become simple, Clay effortless, efficient and effective.
And your levels of uncertainty and confusion begin to fade away. Now, just before we kick off a couple of items that will help on this learning journey. In the first couple of lessons on Ghana start slow. So you might be thinking, I wish I could speed up the lessons, but I assure you Before long, you'll be wishing me to slow down also, as we go through this course you may experience some some tension and maybe some confusion. I'm gonna talk using some terms or words and concepts you may have potentially not heard before, there may be some, there may be some content that doesn't quite fall into place right away. It may even feel like it's all going over your head, or it doesn't make sense.
Or you may even feel like you've chosen the wrong course. That's okay. Just sit with it, and let your subconscious process it. I went through this same emotions with my first mentor, when he began teaching me this knowledge. It's called learning. So be gentle on yourself and just have some fun with it.
I assure you by module four or five things will start to gel together. And by the end of this program, things will all be locked in place for you. Secondly, some of the content and thought engineering is not the most exciting stuff on the planet. Please keep in mind that what we're doing here this is not a Terminator. film, you're here because you want. You want knowledge because you want to elevate and transform your life.
And remember, in life there, there's only there are only three teams, you can be on the winning team, the losing team, or the learning thing. And the only way to be on the losing team is to quit. So don't quit, stick with it, I show you soon, it will all start to come together, and your commitment will pay a huge dividend. Keep in mind that once upon a time, tying your shoelaces was also a difficult task and act that you can now perform without any thought process whatsoever in time, I assure you, this will be the same. Third, please get a pen and paper. If you can create a folder dedicated to this program that's even better.
You'll be able to refer back to your notes over time over the coming months and years to help you remember the knowledge and content and submit the learning that you're going to get in this program. Next, one of my disciplines in If he's I never go past a word I don't understand. Or word I don't understand in the context that it's being used. Because when you do this, your brain actually switches off. It stops absorbing and it stops learning. So I always read with a dictionary to hand, and I never go past a word that I don't fully comprehend.
I just use the free dictionary comm app on my phone or computer. So if I happen to use a word that you don't fully understand or understanding the context, I'm using it. Please pause the video and look it up quickly. Always keep in mind that knowledge requires comprehension, not just consumption. There is nothing to be gained from hearing, or reading or consuming something that you don't fully understand. Because if you don't fully understand the concept, how can you actually put it to work for you?
Next, at the end of each lesson, I'm going to stick in a short joke because I want you to Have a small, have a small and have a little bit of a laugh. I mean, I'm incredibly passionate about the knowledge of food engineering because I know what a extraordinary impact it can have on your ability to develop real prosperity, abundance and freedom because it did for me. And I know that much of what we cover in this program is pretty serious content. But if you meet me outside of this space, or if you would have come to one of my live events where I teach this program, you would find that I'm really quite the jovial Joker. I love having a good laugh, throwing in jokes and anecdotes, but obviously in this format, it's not quite as easy to do that or to achieve that. So enjoy the jokes and feel free to email me and write them.
Most of them are dad jokes because I'm a dad these days. And But anyway, look, I hope you have a giggle and a chuckle out of them. I've tried to keep them as clean as reasonably possible. Next, the ultimate low the the optimum focus and attention time for human beings is 22 minutes. If you go to Disneyland, you'll see that all of their shows are exactly 22 minutes long, because they know we're focused dilutes. So I'm going to do my very best to keep all of the lessons at a maximum of 22 minutes where possible.
If you're watching the training videos, one after another, please don't watch for an absolute maximum of 15 minutes without a break. Because, you know, at that point, your mind is going to take a break anyway. So you might as well give it a break so that the knowledge can integrate and you can get the learning. And lastly, before we start, there are two words I'd like to define for you just before we begin because they are incredibly important, incredibly important components of the engineering. The first word is synergy and The reason that I wanted to fall in it clearly now is because this word is often misunderstood or there is ambiguity around its meaning. The definition of synergy is this, and I'm going to read this one as well.
Synergy is the integration of elements that when combined produce a total effect that is greater than the sum of the individual elements are another way of saying it is that synergy represents the sum of the integrated behaviors that cannot be predicted by adding the sum of its parts. Now, that may sound more complicated. However, the best way to explain it is with a simple example using metallic alloys working together metallic alloys are synergetic for example, nickel iron and chromium are combined to make steel. Now, when you take the ultimate tensile strength of those three components, nickels is about 80,000 pounds per square inch or psi i end is about 60,000 psi chromium is about 70,000 psi. There are some other minor components in steel such as carbon and manganese etc. And these add about 40,000 psi in the ultimate tensile strength.
Now, adding all these individual component tensile strength together, so, Nicole 80,000 ions 60,000, chromium 70,000 and demonic components 40,000 we get a total combined ultimate tensile strength of 250,000 pounds per square inch. Yay. When we test chromium nickel steel, it actually has a tensile strength of 350,000 psi. This represents a 40% increase in the sum of its constituent parts. This outcome of a 40% increase in strength of steel cannot be predicted by calculating or adding up the ultimate tensile strength of its components is synergy in action. synergy is being perfectly balanced.
Did he and it's also easily measured, but the y's are known. The why of synergy is mysterious. It's an enigma. But all you need to know is it works in the positive. And what you're about to learn in this program is exactly the same. Every individual theory or piece of knowledge of thought engineering is powerful and valuable on its own.
However, when they are combined, the synergetic effect and impact on you, your business in your life is not only extraordinary, it's immeasurable. You cannot predict what the synergetic outcome will be. You just have to know it will be far greater than the value of any individual single component. The second word I'd like to make sure that we're all clear on is optimize. And this one is much simpler. You'll find that during the course I use this word a lot, and it's important you understand it accurately when I use it.
Now, the definition of the word optimize is and you may want to write this one down to make as effective, perfect or as useful as possible. Now, just so you know, I've also included a download of definitions of synergy and optimize I just explained so that you can download it and reread it at your leisure. synergy in particular is a critical piece of the puzzle to understand. So please take the time to download it and read it and just really understand it. Okay, let's rock and roll well Come back. Now I know I covered this first principle in the the introduction video, you would have watched the join this course.
However, it's so important that we need to go over it again briefly. I don't want to run the risk of that you may have just glanced over this principle, because it's important that you fully comprehend it. Now, what I'm referring to is the misunderstanding that experience is the defining factor in business. In the introduction video, I spoke on how Japan was able to transform their country from a shattered post war nation who manufactured nothing but cheap junk into the second largest economy on the planet. Now, did they have the most experience in manufacturing or quality? No way.
But what they had thanks to Deming, was a different theory and knowledge and different thought engineering driving them and as such, the way that they acted and the results that they achieved Now, I could give you a list of never ending list of examples illustrating the misunderstanding in business, or this misunderstanding in business, I should say. But just let's get straight to the point. I'm not saying for a moment that experience isn't valuable, of course, it's valuable. However, what you need to grasp is that it's not the defining factor that separates those business owners who develop real wealth, abundance and freedom from the majority who do not. It's only half of the equation. If it was the defining factor, then why is it as I mentioned in the first video that business owners with 510 or 20 years of incredible business experience in their professions still struggle to produce profound results and develop real wealth, abundance, happiness and freedom.
The thought engineering that drives the way that you think and as such, act, engage, perform and and produce Is the other half deeming Eunice Kenzo, the master arch annuities. And by the end of this course, you'll know too. Now just before I end this first video, I'd like to ask you to please keep in mind that fundamentally, what you are learning in this course is not another thing that you have to do in your business. It's not another strategy or method that you have to add to your already overflowing list of things to do. It's a, it's a modus operandi. It's a collection of immutable laws, theory and knowledge that proactively drive your thought patterns and as a result, your actions and they combined synergistically to develop an incredible understanding, an incredible undercurrent, I should say of success in your business and yourself.
Combined, they support and place you in an optimal position for maximum productivity at all times. And it is from this position that your ability to produce the ultimate goal of business ownership, real wealth, abundance and freedom becomes easy. In the next video, we're going to break down the critical component that separates incredible ladies from the rest. So, I'll see you in the next video. And until we meet there, think clearly be superb and have an absolutely incredible day.
