• Is your topic interesting to the right people for the right reasons?
• Does your topic advance the literature in your field and what does that even mean?
• Will it allow you to gather the data you need and finish a methodological progression that you can control?
• What is the likelihood this topic will allow you to finish your degree in a reasonable amount of time?
