As mentioned in section three, loyalty as a primeval survival strategy is an innate human resource. We have always needed our group to survive in order for us to survive, so loyalty is built into our DNA. However, loyal and dedicated employees don’t just grow like mushrooms in the dark. Loyalty needs to become a valued virtue within the organization. However, this must be seen as a two-way street.
Don’t expect to receive the loyalty of you don’t give it.
From my own experiences in a number of businesses, I have seen how creating an ongoing loyal and committed team is one of the surest routes to long-term success.
