Rosemary sage cheese spread recipe
 


Rosemary and sage cheese spread
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 10-15 mins
Ingredients 1:

2 cups of warm water (90-110 degrees Fahrenheit)
1 cup of soaked cashews (See cashew replacements below in chefs notes)
5 Tablespoon tapioca flour/starch
5 Tablespoon nutritional yeast
1 small lemon juiced or 1/4 cup lemon juice unsweetened
¼ Teaspoon fresh rosemary and sage
½ Tablespoon kappa carrageenan

Tools:

Stove or hot plate
1 medium saucepan or pot
Blender (standard or high performance)
1 Silicon spatula or whisk
Molding container (qty based on size)
Measuring cup for liquids
Measuring spoons

Instructions:

Add the water to the blender first to prevent dry ingredients from getting stuck under the blade
Add all other ingredients to a blender
Blend on high for 1 minute to ensure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly
Immediately add to a pan on high heat, begin stirring immediately
Reduce to low heat once boiling starts
Continuing stirring for 10-15...
