Smoked liquid cheese sauce recipe

Alderwood smoked cheese
Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 10-15 mins
Ingredients:

2 cups of warm water (90-110 degrees Fahrenheit)
1 Cup of soaked cashews
5 Tablespoon tapioca flour/starch
5 Tablespoon nutritional yeast
1 small lemon juiced or 1/4 cup lemon juice unsweetened
1/2 Tablespoon fine smoked salt (Alderwood smoked)

Tools:

Stove or hot plate
1 medium saucepan or pot
Blender (standard or high performance)
1 silicone spatula or whisk
Storage container
Measuring cup for liquids
Measuring spoons

Instructions:

Add the water to the blender first to prevent dry ingredients from getting stuck under the blade
Add all other ingredients to a blender (except 1/2 portion of the smoked salt to be added later)
Blend on high for 1 minute to ensure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly
Immediately add to a pan on high heat, begin stirring immediately
Reduce to low heat once boiling starts
