All right, one of the other things I wanted to talk about was number four. Proximity and I kind of talked about this in the first lesson in which you know, I kind of have a three drawer system. And inside of those three drawers, you know, I have different labels for things that I commonly use, you know, this I may use one time a day. This one I may use one time a week. And this one I may use, you know, one time a month. And the whole point of this is I'm keeping things that I'm using, oftentimes, near me, everything that I possibly use on a daily basis or weekly basis.

I want to have on my desk near my desk or something, you know, my printer over to the left right here, I have it right beside me. All of my recording equipment right here right beside me. I have Have all of my materials, you know, when I want to pull out a course or a book, or I have other things that's all over here on the side of my desk over here, I have a number of other things as well all around me, all of these to help me improve my productivity because I'm going after. And I'm always reaching after these things day after day after day. So keep things that you're using, often, within a close proximity. I often like to put it inside of a drawer, or like I said, kind of a little file, you know, or a briefcase, where you're just simply saying, Hey, you know, take this and, you know, keep all of my important files in here.

So that way, it's right all here all in this one spot that I can always keep. Otherwise, you're gonna end up wasting a lot of time and proximity even comes into play in the digital realm. You don't want to have a lot of things over here. You know, they are hard to find in essence, you don't want things where you have to go through You have to click through and go, Oh, I want this. And I have to go into here and I have to go into this. If that's something that you use every day like a to do list, I don't want to have my to do list all the way deep inside one of these folders right here for me to find amongst all of this, you know, data or information I've collected or use, I want it to be right in the forefront on my desktop, things that are on your desktop should not be shortcuts, they should not be icons.

If I'm looking up, Leo, that's exactly what I want to pop up, right, they're not going to have that as a shortcut icon over here. So the proximity is going to help you make sure that you're not wasting valuable time on doing these little things like finding where a file is. As long as you keep that in check, you're going to have a lot more increased productivity. I can't even tell you how many times I have personally because sometimes it'll get out of hand and I almost every week I need to do this. I need to re update That's my proximity to items that I need to be working on that week or in some time frame. And I've wasted, gosh, I mean hours, sometimes usually it's just five or 10 minutes.

But imagine if you just had five minutes every day. And you multiply that by 30 days in a month. Oh, my goodness. I mean, you have literally lost almost three hours of work from just going, where was that thing again, I can go find that real quick. And then you just flip through a few folders. That is a huge amount of time lost.

I mean, you can't make that stuff back up. Unless you naturally just take one, maybe even two hours and just organize the proximity of things inside your life. Right here right now. And now is the best time to start.
