Okay, so kind of what I was going in line with talking about mail. Make sure that when the mail comes in anything that's junk, obviously, you know, you're just gonna throw that out it's pretty easy to see that junk mail is junk. And usually know the advertisements, your local car dealership, you know, maybe an electric or gas company, it's trying to get you to switch over or Verizon or things like that. all that junk mail that's thrown out. Anything that is of course important. What you want to do is then either delegate, all right, if it's not yours, handle or apply for later.
And you're just gonna again, like I said, handle those things that are immediate handle those things that you don't need to handle, delegate them out, especially if you have a larger business. have multiple people working under you, or reply for leader, things that can be handled at a later date at a later time, you don't need to get to it right away. When you sort your mail every day as it comes in, it's gonna become less of an issue than trying to get through it all at the end of the week, and getting all those replies out that you need to, especially sometimes you may have legal things that may come inside of the mail, those things need to be handled almost immediately. Sometimes, you know, I got one the other day that was just kind of like a legal dispute. And they actually because of when they sent off the mail and how crappy they sent it, which technically is illegal.
They only gave me basically 16 hours till the end of the day to reply back and handle all of the issues that they were talking about. And that was very, very poor. Thankfully, you know, my lawyer talked to them and got them to literally ease off and say, you know, you got to give us 30 days, but, again, if you're not handling the mail properly when it comes in, that makes have slipped past my desk. And there may have been, you know, some unforeseen lawsuit or issues at hand because of that simple little thing. I didn't sort my mail the day it came in. And because of a lawyers improper and illegal method, he technically could have brought a lawsuit against me because he did, even though he didn't give me enough time.
He did give me quote unquote, warning or a media mail, you know, issuance or notification. So stored in your mail is extremely important to keep you not only in good standing legally, financially, but also just to keep your business flowing at a natural pace.
