Alright, now this one is a little bit of a more digital issue, and what you're going to end up doing inside of this is two or more inboxes All right, and what I mean by that is I of course mean your email inboxes oftentimes, we have a lot of things that come inside of our inbox. And let me tell you, some people I've seen just makes me sick to my stomach with 10 20,000 emails that they've never read through inside their inbox. If that's the case, what you probably need to do and this is the most drastic delete your email and create a new one especially if you use a free one like a Gmail or a Yahoo and it's not directly to your website you know like Zack Zack dash Miller or contact Zack dash Miller calm you know, if you don't have if you have a lot of spam with that, that's a given.
That's gonna happen because it's business but if you have a personal one and you're getting spammed All the time. Number one, do not sign up to free promotionals with your email, that's a big No, no. Number two, when it comes to all of your inboxes unsubscribe unsub oops unsub Plus, if they are, hit that spam button, so that way they don't get back through unsub from everybody and people that don't offer an unsubscribe button or don't do it properly, hit the spam button, make sure they never come back through. Number two, what you need to really keep in mind is that while you have business, there is business that is immediate. Whoops. And then there is business that I would say is more of, well, it's a non emergency, right?
It's something that can be handled or what I would consider regular. And with these types of inboxes, you're going to instantly source And understand even between support, you know, what's the priority is that low is it medium is it high. And when you have immediate, you have regular, you know what you have to focus on for the day for emails, which I always recommend. Email is one of those micro tasks, you want to do that in the beginning of the day. But you can handle all those immediates. And then the regulars you can take at your leisure pace, whenever they come in.
And I usually for inboxes, there's only two times to check. And this is just for me, because this is my schedule, but it's then 9am that's when I start or whenever you start, you start at 6am 6am right when you go in, and then when you finish and for me, that happens to be well, really 4pm because I want to make sure that I give myself about an hour to reply back to all the emails I need to. So I'm gonna make sure that I'm cleaning up these inboxes I'm not checking them too often. I'm not creating this reciprocal where, you know, I message someone back a couple minutes after the email, then they message back You know, next thing you know, you've spent your entire day on one person, maybe you solve the problem, but you spend all day on it, and that's not efficient.
So again, making sure that you are getting this proper scheduling and you have two inboxes that separate these two things. You're going to make sure that you get focused on what matters most and then handle everything that's secondary second,
