So, you’ve decided to stay Congratulations.
This is a huge decision and not one to be taken lightly.
What this means is that the work required to shift yourself, and therefore the relationship, must get serious.
You have to allow yourself to let go of any residual blame, shame, guilt, or resentment. A happy relationship cannot be sustained if it is built on a foundation of past unhealed, or unforgiven wounds. This may take quite a bit of work, but you have come this far and it is possible.
This is not an ‘oh yeah I’ve decided to stay’ decision. This is a “Yes, I've decided to stay, and I will do whatever it takes” kind of decision.
