In the previous modules, you’ve learned on a holistic level which nourishment you need. With the help of the exercises and assignments, you’ve also learned which nourishment doesn’t benefit you. By being consciously aware of yourself, and by listening to your body and intuition, you take good care of yourself.

The things you eat, drink, think, feel and experience: everything is interconnected. All holistic levels are connected to one another. When that connection is pure, you’re healthy physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. We can then speak of a healthy balance between your holistic levels.

This balance is required to state that you’re healthy. For example, when you’re convinced that you’re overweight, it’s of little use to go on a strict diet when the cause isn’t to be attributed to the physical level. Did you gain weight because you ate too much candy and greasy food, then this can seem like the cause. But the actual question here is, why do you eat so much candy? Is it really a physical issue, or is it actually caused by your mental or emotional level? Do you eat so much greasy food because you really enjoy it, or because you’re lacking the motivation to prepare healthy food?

Always figure out the answer to the question of the actual cause. In the above-mentioned example exists a possible risk of spiraling into a cycle of losing weight, gaining weight, losing weight again, etc., if you don’t tackle the actual cause. Listen to your body, your spirit, and your feelings in regard to your health, because eventually, you’re the one who determines what you need and when. And when you’re conscious about your needs and where they come from, you’re able to make conscious nourishment choices in regard to all your holistic levels.

This connection is priceless. The moment you start making conscious choices, the connection between all your holistic levels will become sensible. That’s why you always have to have faith in yourself, in your inner voice. Your force comes forth from your core essence, the origin of who you truly are.

Holistic nourishment covers more than taking good care of yourself. It’s about connection, consciousness, and getting to know your true needs. In the next chapter, we’d like to give you an introduction to Being Orientation: living from your core essence.
