In this video, let me answer two questions which are most frequently asked first, do you retain everything what you read? No, it should not mean you need to just retain things. What are useful for you are the things that you're going to apply. The rest should just be understood, should not start reading any book with a cold that you're going to learn everything in that book that is not going to happen. And even if does, it will not be consistent. So make sure to retain only important things which you find that yes, you need to understand everything what you are reading.

The second question is, should I read the entire book? Yes, if you're reading fiction book, how can you read story in between, not necessarily if you're reading nonfiction book. So when it comes to nonfiction book, you need to be clear with your expectation. So when I say book a week, I am expected That you read an entire book, but let's assume a scenario where after reading half a book, you get a feeling that this is not for you this you cannot connect with the author. This is like No, you won't be able to do it. It's completely fine.

Get rid of that book, take up a new book, revise the whole and continue or there will be some parts which interesting mode, some won't. So that's completely fine. Okay, indeed as for your interest initially until unless you reach to that level, but irrespective of your mode, the habit will kick in and you finish everything. You need to remember that nonfiction books what you are reading are for your growth. It's not to get the satisfaction that I completed a book sometimes it's okay to skip few panicles but escape the intention of taking Maxim's from the book, but if you cannot connect with certain part, that's completely fine. Leave it out.

So we ask for your interest and ask for your area of growth. Do not get in the habit of reading each and every board and retaining it trust me this bad expectation of reading everything and retaining everything is the primary cause why many people are not able to build the reading habit
