The fifth p it personality. We want to know more about you when you're on stage. Even though you're up there speaking about your business, you must remember that people buy people. So when you're on stage you need to reveal a little bit about yourself. Tell a story about your background, make a joke about yourself, whatever is needed. When I was training in cabaret, my mentor said to me, the test Delia of whether or not you've done well on stage, it's going to be whether or not we know more about you at the end than we did at the beginning.
And that can be very challenging. Often we don't want to reveal something about ourselves. But take it from me that particularly in the modern day, people want something that is very human.
