DESCRIPTION: 
It is critical that a deep bond of trust is established between the travellers and the person responsible for travel risk management. The reason for this is that travellers must feel they are able to share personal information with the risk manager that will enable the manager to take the necessary precautions. A prime example of this is travellers with a pre-existing condition where non-disclosure of such can have dire consequences to both the individual and the organisation. Pre-existing conditions include:

- Diabetes, epilepsy, kidney disease, cancer, high or low blood pressure, low or high blood sugar and heart disease.

Should a pre-existing condition not be disclosed prior to departure, and should anything occur pertaining to the condition whilst on the trip, the traveller will not be covered at all and will be held personally responsible for any and all accounts, including medical, transport and pharmaceutical costs?
