The property should be within the vicinity, or within a reasonable (10kms or less) distance of a 24-hour medical facility in the event, a traveller needs urgent medical attention.
Should the property be in a remote location the management of the property should be able to provide at least one Doctor’s details to travellers or the company in the event a medical practitioner is required. Contact details should include an emergency after-hours number.
The location must be easily accessible to travellers 24 hours a day.  Where a ferry is needed to cross to the destination point, it must be ascertained whether the ferry is operational 24 hours per day or if there are fixed hours only.
