The spring sky is a great time to see celestial objects in the sky due to the absence of the Milky Way Galaxy in the sky. Virgo, in particular, holds many galaxies, and for amateur astrophotographers, it is a constellation that never gets old. Leo is the easiest constellation to identify, along with Corona Borealis and Boötes. There are also quite a few asterisms to learn, and by studying these patterns you can help yourself become more familiar with the spring sky. The following constellations will be taught in this section: Spring Sky Overview Cancer: The Crab Leo: The Lion Virgo: The Maiden Boötes: The Herdsman Corona Borealis: The Northern Crown Hercules: The Greek Hero
