So when I designed this diet, I had five criteria in mind. And they had to the diet had to fulfill these five, five criteria in order for me to give it to go ahead if you like. And I believe that I have fulfilled those five things. And I call these the five S's. So number one, the diet had to be simple. It had to be simple.

So whether you've had years of experience in kitchens, and whether you're a chef or an experienced cook, or whether you've never picked up a source gonna cook anything in your life. This is an all inclusive diet, so anyone can do it. It's very, very simple to do. Number two, it has to be super healthy. There's no point in my mind as someone who embraces health and wants good health for you. There's no point of being easy to do, but unhealthy, you know, I would just recommend going to McDonald's otherwise.

McDonald's is simple, but it's not healthy. So This is simple but it's very, very healthy super healthy. In fact this is the optimum way of eating based on years of years of my own research based on the scientific evidence from people like Dr. Neil Barnard who systematically been reversing his patients diabetes with a low fat plant based diet for years and years and over large large studies, Dr. aswell spine Dr. Dean Ornish, dr. john do. The list goes on Dr. T. Colin Campbell, who conducted the largest study on human nutrition and China Study. All conclusively show that an alkaline plump bass low fat diet is optimum nutrition for human beings in terms of energy sports performance, leanness reversal and prevention of disease, anti aging, anti cancer. So yeah, super healthy and this diet is 100 percent super healthy.

Number three, it has to be sustainable, sustainable over the long term. You know, it's okay, we can all do a juice cleanse for three days and have nothing but juices and be really healthy, but it's not sustainable. So what happens after you do a juice cleanse or a detox of some kind, you go back to what you were eating before. And it just, you know, it negates all the good work you've done. So I wanted to find a way of eating and I knew there must be a way because every animal has optimal nutrition. And so human beings must be able to thrive sustainably or in the long term or over the long term on the diet is best for them.

So this diet is 100% sustainable. I've been on this way of eating now for around about 12 years, a few little changes here and there, just with experimentation, but for the most part, I've been eating this way for 12 years and I've just got better and better results. With all the marathons that I've run in the last few years, just the way I look were feel. And in terms of enjoying what I'm eating, I've never enjoyed a nicer way of eating than eating this way. So it's 100% sustainable. Number four, it has to be satisfying.

So yeah, following on to the last from the last point, the key to sustainability is being feeling satisfied on a diet. If you're, if you're satisfied with what you're eating, then you won't be tempted or you won't want to as much go out and have things like chocolate cakes, crisps, package foods, microwave foods, takeaway foods, you won't be tempted by all that if you're completely satisfied with what you're eating. Okay, so it's funny because people say, Well, your diets very restrictive, and you can't eat this. You can't do that. Why would I want to eat those things when I believe they're second rate foods, and I'm so completely stumped. Live with what I am eating.

You know if you sit down and have a three course meal and then someone comes up and offers you you know a steak it's like all no thanks I've had enough well that's how I feel eating lots of plant based foods but done in the alkaline five diet way I feel completely satisfied. And the only time I ever have cravings for unhealthy food is when I'm undercard and I haven't eaten enough. So that's the key to this diet. And we'll go into that in another video. You know, overcoming the number one mistake which is not eating enough. And the fifth thing, the fifth s of this, the criteria of this diet is it's systematized.

That's why it's called the outline five diets because I've systematized a healthy way of eating so that when you eat each of the five meal types, you know your body is going to be getting Optimum Nutrition is going to be alkalized and you don't have to worry about you know calorie intake and counting calories and carbs and protein and fats and vitamins and you don't have to worry about that because when you have one of the each of the five meal types, you're getting it Okay, so it's systematized so again. Anyone can do it from your 15 year old niece or nephew to your eight year old grandma granddad, to the person who you work with to the athletes, you know, anyone can do it and and the point of a system is that you do it. Follow the system and you get the same results.

It's repeatable. It's not a chance thing. It's a it's a predictable, you get predictable results on it and the predictable results are lean mass. Sustainable weight loss, not yo yo dieting up and down. So you reach your optimum weight, good health, good skin, ham, eyes, nails, high sustained energy, great sports before Recovery if you're into any kind of sport of fitness, good sleep more can I say that you know the list does go on. And in terms of if you're struggling with any disease or illness, then this is really going to help that.

So, to round off to recap, the five axes of this diet are which the criteria for me creating this diet is simple. It's sustainable. It's satisfying. It's super healthy, and it's systematized
