So let's talk about the affordability of this diet. When I tell people that this diet is a vegan plant based and and has a water element to it, a lot of people assume that it's going to be very expensive and that is really just not the case. The main reason I came up with this diet that this way of eating is to make it affordable. You know, we should be able to eat very, very healthily on a reasonable budget and minimal budget even. So there are no expensive superfoods wonder foods, gone a kind of dishes on this diet. Certainly if you want to add those things in then you can do but I don't personally advise it.

The one thing that I do advocate that you have as a superfood is wheatgrass juice. And you can buy that very inexpensively in powder form. So you can get a big kind of 500 pack of wheatgrass juice that will last. It will ask you on your own months and months and months it will last the whole say family of five a month or two. And you can get that for about 15 pounds 20 pounds. Online organic.

And that's really it's such a great health insurance policy. I've done a whole separate video on wheatgrass juice. I won't talk about that too much here. But um, that's the only thing that is kind of not your normal type of food, a superfood that I would recommend and it's still inexpensive when you buy it in the right places. So what what are the things that we do on this diet? Well, okay, let's talk about in terms of affordability, we've got a lot of things like grains so brown rice, white rice, Pastor, spelt pastor, buckwheat, bulgur, wheat, potatoes, root vegetables now, you can have any of those combinations of or pick out your favorite ones or if you're gluten intolerant, you know, ditch the, the kind of past the type things in the wheat based things and just have like potatoes or rice or buckwheat or so you know, but the the point is there's a whole raft of grains and starches, cooked starches, that you can have that up really, really cheap.

You can buy a big bag of polenta, which is what African runners have and it's what keeps them very lean, very healthy, very energized, able to run marathon distances. You know, it's like the diet of endurance athletes. And you can buy I bought a pack of organic polenta, big pack which will do three or four people for 70 pence which is like $1 and that's nourishing it's going to throw you up it's low fat, so it's going to be really healthy for you. And it's cheap. Okay, so you know bag of potatoes, I can get a big like kilogram and a half pack of organic potatoes for about one pound 20 here in the UK in my local supermarket, more and more supermarkets are doing organic things. And the price of organic is coming down here in the UK anyway if you're in the US or Australia, you know just look around and and what I would also advise is going to your local either food court or organic farm and ordering maybe a vegetable box.

That's what I do I order two big fruit and vegetable boxes per week. And the beauty of this in terms of your budget is that when you get your vegetables and fruit delivered to you instead of going out into the supermarket so basically I get my grains and potatoes and things I buy them in bulk. So I buy my grains at the beginning of the month and that will last me right the way through to the end of the month so I don't need to keep going out into the supermarket. When I get the vast majority of my fruits and vegetables delivered It means that I don't need to be in supermarkets a lot of the time. And you know what it's like I don't know about you, but I never would go into supermarket and just buy the fruits and vegetables that I need. It just doesn't happen.

I always end up buying extra things, you know, just things that you want to buy just for, for pleasure, fun extra things that creep on to your shopping list. The beauty of them being delivered to you is that you only buy what you sit down and calculate out. Not nice at the moment in a supermarket when you've got kids around or you know, they've got all the advertising or you're hungry or you've got limited time or whatever. So this diet is very affordable. Personally for me as like one person. I find that I can eat this way for under 200 pounds per month and that's the vast majority of my food is organic.

It's obviously very healthy that includes my wheatgrass juice, and that even includes eating out every now and then I'll go for sushi or some kind of vegan meal So, and that includes all my water as well because I have, I get mineral water. So or if you've got reverse osmosis water or whatever kind of water you want, you can budget in your water on top of that. So whether you're going to buy like an alkaline water machine or bottled water, you can add that in and you can eat this way for under 200 pounds a month, which is about $300 or so. And obviously, if you're if you've got a bigger family, then it's not going to be 200 pounds each, you can double up on a lot of that so you can find two people can eat for, say 300 pounds. So you're gonna make savings with the more people you have in your family.

So the point is, this diet is inexpensive, it's affordable for everybody. That's one of the main reasons I created it not to make great health and energy and usefulness of weight loss and disease present prevention. Not today. Put it in a kind of only for the elite people who've got money to be able to afford to do so.
