So let's talk about TV. tv. And then are you expected to see us on a diet program or course, but I think TV is a major part of of diet, actually. And my advice would be to get rid of your TV. I got rid of my TV over 10 years ago now and it's one of the best things I've ever done. Because your mind it what you feed your mind is equally if not more important as what you feed your body.

And if you're feeding your mind full of things like advertisements, which are talking about yogurt and cakes, and KFC and the wrong types of food, you know, let's be honest, we're never going to see a banana advertised on TV Now are we? So, yeah, then that's going into your mind and it's normalizing your body and normalizing your mind to think that eating lots of meat and dairy is good for you. And when I say calcium, what do you think of milk Dairy when I say protein, what do you think of meat? Why? Because the media has, has promoted that agenda for many years. And it's actually not true.

So how many times do you stop and consider what you know the truth of the things that are going into your mind consciously or oftentimes subconsciously, through the television. So the other thing is, a lot of time is wasted by watching TV. When I talk to you about going out for your morning walk, if you haven't watched that video, you'll get to that one. I say to walk for 20 minutes, at least every morning. A lot of people say I haven't got time to do that. yet.

These are the same people who will find an hour or two an evening to watch TV. So you know, you could say well, like winding down and relaxing by watching TV. Okay, fair enough. But what I would say is cut your TV watching in half at least, instead of watching TV which is basically being programmed it's called a TV program for a reason the media and the government and whoever is putting out a TV programs are programming your mind. Don't put your mental state in the hands of someone else an advertiser you know a program creates a who a very skilled at Psychology at persuasion at promoting their agenda to you being in control of what's going on in your mind because your mental well being will be affected by it and when you've got better went mental well being you will have better physical well being and the potential for better physical well being will be much greater.

So I would say cut down your TV watching in half write down how many hours a week you actually watch, monitor it, write it down, make a pledge to yourself that you're going to cut that in half. If you haven't got a TV like I don't fantastic, fantastic. Instead of watching TV, speak on some YouTube videos find some documentaries. I've given you a list in the resources of documentaries that I think I would like you to watch to help get into the mindset of, of this alkaline plant based diet and why it's so good and to really give you momentum with with embracing this as a lifestyle. So pick out some good documentaries, watch some music concerts, you know, I sit and watch the classical music problems over the summer, as something nice to do. So be be selective in watch what you watch.

Or alternatively get rid of technology, get rid of any kind of screen and read a book. I like to read the Bible. I read the Bible every day. Love it, it totally enriches my mind. It sets me up for the day. And yeah, I put them in the right mindset to embrace a healthy energized day.

So find a good book to read or go out for a walk or do some exercise. Or socialize with people rather than spending hours in front of this big square box, which is just, it's a weird thing to do. If you think about it, you know, if an alien was to come down and say, See, millions upon millions of people sat worshipping this square box in our front room every day, then they would think it was completely mad. So yeah, just think about that. So like I say, write down, how many hours a day or how many hours a week you watch TV, make a pledge to cut that in half, or do what I did just get rid of the whole thing. It will probably improve your mental well being but also your it will help you improve your weight, it will probably give you a lot more time back.

And it could even improve your income as many studies that show that people who have got higher income, don't have a TV. So maybe, you know, take it on board.
