Okay, so I'm reading the Bible. I don't know what struggles you've got in your life. But we've all got some struggles and I'm presuming cincher you've enrolled in this course that you've got. You've got struggles with weight and how then maybe you've got a really serious disease that you're totally scared about. battling with day to day. Maybe you're in a lot of pain.

Maybe you're depressed and sad a lot of the time. Maybe you just don't know which way to turn. Well, I do know that we all have our struggles. And at some points in life, it goes good and at some points, it goes bad. Sometimes it goes really, really bad. Sometimes it just muddles along and you just feel bored and Just what's it all about?

And I guess in this video, I just want to say that if you haven't done so already, I'd really encourage you to speak to Jesus. Because Jesus loves you, whether you whether you realize it at the moment or not. People used to say this to me before I became Christian, I became Christian. Only, you know, very, very recently, a proper devout follower of Christ. So not religious, not just kind of someone of the church, a person or a good person, none of that a devout follower of Jesus Christ and have accepted Jesus as my Lord and personal Savior, because basically, I ran away from Jesus for years. And I grew into the New Age movement and was into spirituality.

But for someone who's really into spirituality, I'd never even read the Bible. I've never even read hardly any of the Bible. I'd read it. Psalms when I was young because I grew up in churches seeing choirs but um yeah, I hadn't read the Gospels. I just dismissed Jesus as being some mythical figure maybe he was a maybe as around maybe wasn't maybe as a good man. And anyone who talked about Jesus I kind of was like, just not interested in really.

But the fact is that when I was going through some tough times, not really really tough myself, but vicariously, I was looking at the kind of evil in the world and just seeing things going on that I I didn't like and especially coming from the light positivity movement where I was very everything is positive and you know, law of attraction secret thinking, what you think about you bring about and all that kind of stuff, and I was thinking positively Yeah, I was seeing a lot of negative things arrived me in the world, you know, doesn't you can't help but notice, you know, starving Kids around the world and tsunamis that devastate millions and hundreds of thousands of lives. Disease, death, killing wars, dishonest governments, you know, you can always think positively about those things. And then closer to home, you just look at yourself and the people around you and you can see in congruence, ease and you know, you think you're a morally good person but we all slip up on our own morals yet we judge other people on those same things.

We're very quick to judge others. We're very quick to forgive and dismiss our own misdemeanors. So what's the point I'm getting out in this video? Well, since finding Jesus, the God of the Bible, our Savior, then it's just changed everything and it's given me a complete peace as the Bible says. a peace that surpasses all understanding in all circumstances in all situations. My life is not Always a bed of roses.

But I know that Jesus loves me and Jesus has saved me. And that's just it's literally like winning the lottery but times a million because it means that I'm going to spend eternity when I die or, or if he comes back in my lifetime, because we're told as Christians reading the Bible, that Jesus is returning to claim his people and to judge the world. And if this is something that's new to you, or you're thinking, What a load of rubbish, I would urge you to rethink it, rethink and re explore it. And if you're saying, Well, I'm into science, not religion. I'm a scientist too. I studied chemistry, I did forensic stuff.

A bit university I was very much into, yes, science and maths and wanted everything to be proven. And coming to faith in Jesus just proved everything else that I'd learned in my other pocket. have knowledge in life, far from kind of having to let go of all that science, if it just, it just further solidifies in my mind that the Bible is true because the scientific aspect backs it up. And my faith in Jesus is not a blind faith. It's an absolutely evidence based faith. But over and above the evidence, which I found out after I came to faith, basically, I cried out to God, I was like, God, I don't know what I'm doing.

I can see what's evil in the world. I don't know what what's going on in this world. I can't make any sense of it. Show me. And at that point, Jesus just came and spoke to me and convicted me of I need to find Jesus Jesus as my Savior. And I had to just surrender to that.

And I'd been running away from that for years. And yeah, just had to surrender that point. And it was the best decision I've ever made in my life. And then since that point, get into reading the Bible learning about God of the Old Testament, God of the New Testament, the same God, Jesus Christ, right, the Old Testament and the New Testament, and just God's love and God's mercy for us and for you and for me, as individuals, God cares so much about you and me, he counts the hairs on our head. He delights in his children, and to be a child of God. All you have to do is accept Jesus as your personal Savior and believe that he is the Son of God and he came to make an atonement for your sins because we cannot be in the presence of God.

A holy, righteous God because we are unclean, we are sinful in our very heart. So you might think, well, I don't sin. We all sin, since the fall of Adam and Eve back in the Garden of Eden. We all sin, it's in our nature, we can't help but then you know, there's white lies and feelings of jealousy and stress. Driving to make money or for status or power or achievement or recognition, all of that sinful. You know, we need to be turning to God as our maker and Savior and trusting in Him not on our own achievements.

You know, trust in God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and lean not on your own understanding. But anyway, I really just want to give you a little snapshot of where I've come from and the benefits that it brought to my life and benefits of the wrong word. Just Jesus saved me basically. And I just would want to encourage you if you don't know Jesus at the moment, pray to Him. Just say Jesus. I want to learn about y'all want to know more about you Will you come into my life I want to speak to you I want to accept you as my Savior and and show me reveal yourself to me and He will.

The Bible says that, you know, if you ask you will receive in terms of the truth and his knowledge, and he will you invite him in and he will be faithful to that promise of the Bible and he will enter your life and he will convict you of his truthfulness and what he's done for you. And I urge you to accept Him as your Lord and personal Savior, and then we can spend eternity with Him in heaven in the new creation, as opposed to eternal separation from God. When you die, so, yeah, you know, if you're going through any struggles, health struggles, mental issues, struggles, just emotional struggles, financial struggles, turn to God and God will just turn things around for you in a really massive way, in a really amazing So yeah, just finished with a famous passage from the Bible, john 316. For God so loved the world that He sent His only one and only Son, Jesus, so that whoever believes in Him would not perish but would have eternal life.

God didn't Sunday, send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. So a lot of people think all religions, religious people are very judgmental. And no, the Bible is very clear that you cannot come to God through any other means. So if you're praying to other gods, if you're praying to angels, if you're just praying to a God in heaven, you cannot do that. The only way to get to God is through Jesus. No one comes to the Father except to the son.

Jesus is the way the truth and the life and you To accept him. So, the reason why I'm saying this is because your eternal salvation is at stake here and, and I want to see you have a relationship with Jesus and to come into the kingdom of God and be a child of God forevermore.
