Hello, and in this section we are going to talk about grounding. This is one of my favorite principles. So we'll discover what grounding is learning, easy to use grounding techniques so that you can start to think clearly and to receive divine guidance. Remember, this is called DIY mindfulness. So the more you practice, these tools and techniques that you're learning, the better you are, you wouldn't go to the gym once and expect to look like a bodybuilder look the same with these tools and techniques. The more you practice, the more results you see, the more confident you become.

Do it yourself mindfulness, I can't do it for you. Your partner can't do it for you. Your boss can't do it for you, your mother, your father, do it yourself. Only you can make the choice to change and transform your life. So have you ever heard of grounding yourself and what do you think of me so When I do this with kids, a lot of them say, Oh yeah, it means you know, you get a timeout or you sit in the corner. Well, that's one type of grounding.

But we're talking about mindfulness, we're talking about expansion and transformation. So we're not talking about getting in trouble or timeout or anything. So think of grounding as, like a huge ship. A ship in the ocean, drops a finger when it goes into court. And why does it do that? It drops anchor so that it can stay in one place.

Otherwise, it would drift back out to sea. You know, it's like, look at this, I love this picture. Look at this huge picture. This boat weighs you know, thousands of times. And so it anchors itself that doesn't go drifting back out to sea. Well, the same principle when you ground yourself, you bring all in your own energy back into your body, back into your energy field times your energy to get scattered, and okay guys You know, when you see someone kind of spinning and not grounded, so you learn to recognize when you're not grounded and to, to anchor and ground yourself.

And you want to do this when you start thinking clearly like when you're spinning and feeling scattered, you can't hear your intuition. You can't pair any kind of divine guidance. And it's just hard to really create anything and my daughters to the pregnancy, say, like, Mom, you know, you really need to ground yourself, but I start rushing or I'm, you know, maybe tripping, bumping into things, burning myself, you know, like, bumping into something, it's like, ground yourself, you're gonna learn how to ground yourself, so that you can have all of your own energy in your own space in your own field, then you can have access to your higher self. Okay, so we're going to go through the ground, the exercise, and you actually may want to view this once and then follow it with your eyes because I am going to ask you to close your eyes but that's so grounding yourself.

So I want you to sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor. clear everything from your lap. You got to have your hands, palms up, palms down. He just want to start relaxing. You want to take three deep breaths. even feel your body relaxing.

And your breath just stops everything just next year. just pause it briefly. I want you to picture in your mind's eye, the area between your tailbone and your pelvic region and this is your first or your route. Chocolat and so chakra is an introducing center. It's a Sanskrit word that means we'll be going to ground your root chakra to the center of the earth, so that you are like that huge, magnificent ship. Now you're going to create your grounding for grounding core can be a bit rough.

It can be a tree trunk or even a robust waterfall. Anything that makes you feel grounded and sturdy, are going to picture it in your mind's eye. Remember, keep really just picturing this. And now I want you to picture a barbell in the middle of your root chakra and that barbells is simply one of those weights you see at the gym. we maybe have one at home. This picture that barbell in the middle, the root chakra, you're going to wrap up grounding cord tightly around your BB and you know, shoot down to the center of the earth.

You're gonna find a huge block or tree to attach the end of the grounding port to the boat tightly. You are now grounded. Just allow yourself to relax into this experience. And for some of you, it's maybe the first time you've ever actually been grounded into your body. And you can do this several times throughout the day to feel more peaceful and connected. And when to use grounding anytime, all the time.

So say for example, you're going into a meeting and you're really nervous. You can sit in your car, you're driving there Just take a moment and ground yourself. If you're at your office already, just go into the bathroom and take a moment to ground yourself to pull your energy back so that you're not getting caught up in everyone else's energy. I've actually been in meetings at work, and I've grounded the room because I could feel the tension and people were kind of starting to thicker. So I've actually taken time to ground the room. I think we can ground your house, but really just start practicing grounding yourself and feeling that that solid foundation just like the ship, start feeling what it feels like to be anchored energetically in your space.

Okay, so go out and pull out your worksheets for us to go over. So if you need to pause, just pause the video here and go get your worksheet. The first question, Are you able to visualize your grounding and if not, don't worry, just keep practicing. Remember Just like going to the gym, you don't go wants to look like a bodybuilder. So you keep practicing, especially if you haven't done any type of meditation or visualization work. Remember you're using different muscles to you're starting to connect with your intuition.

You're starting to connect with your divine guidance. Just take your time with it. You feel different now that you're grounded. And so I have a lot of people say, Yeah, I feel calmer, or I feel clear mentally. Just notice how you feel. And over the next few days, notice if you can tell when you feel grounded and anchored, or when you feel a little scattered and busy.

You don't want to get pulled into what's going on in the world. All the ups and downs. You want to be that balance, level force regardless of what's going on around you. And do you feel clear mentally and emotionally, this worksheet is only for you. So take time with it. You can write down things now.

You can write down things as they come up for you later. But just take your time when there's a space for additional thoughts or questions. Okay, so in the next session, we are going to talk about affirmations, the unliving
