The 1-Hour Confined Space Entry course covers the basics of identifying confined spaces, potential risks such as oxygen deficiency, toxic atmospheres, and restricted entry/exit. Participants will gain an awareness of safe entry procedures, monitoring, and emergency considerations. THIS IS AN AWARENESS LEVEL TRAINING ONLY and does not provide certification to enter or supervise work in confined spaces beyond the SST requirement.
Learning Objectives:
In order to continue to operate in the City of New York, designated construction workers must complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training and carry site safety identification cards as proof (As per NYC Local Law 196 of 2017). This course provides 1 hour toward the satisfaction of that requirement.
