Key there when he gets down late later on that I'm bringing the camera down I'm making the camera follow the character even in this gems no I do not want the gems to be you know cut out of the screen when the gems just a pan thing doesn't look good. So you know we have to animate animated accordingly. Let's go ahead and play this. Okay pretty cool that adds a little bit of more, you know, feel into the whole thing. Yep, all right, that looks pretty cool. I can go ahead and add some of these here because the character still is getting cut top.

So I'm going to do is go ahead and raise the bar a little bit and now talking Okay. I'll try to add some of the torsa delays here as a as a part of final details that the shop means. Obviously you can you know, you can Take critiques from people and take it to a much much finer level. And I will do that if I have to put this shot on my show reel or something like that. I will take days or even you know, like maybe one month to finish one shot and then I'll show it to somebody you know some senior animator or animation lead and then you know I would get get a corrective whatever mistakes there is. So let's go ahead and check out the playblast here.

Just looking. I was looking pretty good. Well, it's looking just like I thought it would. So that's also important, you know, visualizing Your whole shop before you're before you, you know, start working on it. So that's really important thing. And one more thing that I want to say about this shot is that obviously this is a demo video for you guys who are learning animation and have started working and looking for looking to learn something new.

I wouldn't put this shot in my in my portfolio just like this, I would obviously take some critique from some senior animator and take the shot to a much finer level. After looking at a shot for numerous times, we kind of can't figure out you know, if we're going to right or wrong anymore, so the fresh set of eyes, you know, can always be helpful anytime. Even even I can see some of those things that needs to be fixed here like you know, some of those knee pops. happens sometimes. And maybe we can go ahead and add some of those timing edits as well with the follow of jumps, etc. Here I've taken it to a certain level for you guys to learn in know the workflow.

While working, I'm shocked like this, every animator figures out a certain workflow, sometimes even multiple, whichever gets things done. And for this shot to come from scratch to this result here is the use of one of those workflows, which I use when I have time constraints and still need to deliver something that looks okay and presentable. But this is not my only workflow there. There's this other workflow where I work on the blocking and take it to a quite finer level and make it tight so that only minimal details are required later on. splaining the same but here this is more of a combination workflow. So Alright, now that we've taken it to this level, we can go ahead and add some of those background things for the camera to compare where the characters where the character is and whatever he's doing.

I'll make it look like a cityscape here with just some poly cubes or something. It's a pretty simple setup. I didn't want to go through creating huge cities here and they're in the background. So I just thought of, you know, just creating something up with these pretty simple polygon cubes. looks okay. I want to make a copy of it in the As well rotated a little bit now fill up this blank space here.

Just duplicate some of the copies. All right, some more blank space here. Then go ahead and copy one more here by the end and then we're going to take that the one we made and then put it right in here. Fill up the blank. Alright, the character was moving in a blank page user was difficult to determine the cameras motion with respect to the BG so adding that, you know definitely help you can go ahead and create all this. bridges and everything.

You know, you even I can do that, but it'll take super time. It'll take a long time. So I'll just finish up with this very, very pretty rough setup here. You're welcome to add whatever you want for your shot to look. By the end of the shot I'll put up the playblast of this outfit with the flame that I put up put in this metal metal shoes and in camera shake and things like that. So yep, I say I guess that's the zit to reach until a certain level this is how you do it, or at least one of the ways to do it.

Then you show and take critiques in time you create your own workflows, whichever fits you the best and gets the job well done. I try to keep that library of knowledge updated. But if I have to keep up with that, but with that channel I need I would need some funds to do that. And YouTube doesn't pay me anything.
