Okay, now it wouldn't be fair to talk up all of the great things about ozone generators. Without Of course, I'm also going to give you guidelines of how to use them properly so that these issues don't occur. But I need to also show kind of the negative aspects to show that the things that they say are actually true. It's just that they need to be framed properly. So you can understand why at these times they're true, and when used properly, why they're not. So there, there's a, I tried to choose a really negative article why you should never use those own generator.

And I think from there, we can work up and start breaking down a few of the misconceptions or beliefs that really aren't true. So ozone, as we'll go through, is a tiny molecule, three oxygen atoms. That's why it changes h2o and h2o three. It is reactive, which makes it unstable and is potentially a toxic gas app. High parts per million. And the unstable matter of it is when you cool it, and I believe it's either 174 Oh my goodness, what?

Basically there there is a certain level that where you cool it and then you bring it back up to a boiling point, it becomes literally an explosive. So is it unstable? Heck yes, I agree. So but you shouldn't be, you know, trying to liquefy ozone and heat it up. Now, the health effects. Again, when it comes to breathing high parts per million, you're going to feel all of these issues decrease the lung function.

Why? Because it's literally rupturing the cells. And that's usually a parts per million. You'd have to establish with the EPA is they're always changing those, you know, I would basically try and keep it under 150 or 200 parts per million. Anytime you use an ozone generator, at least leave the room or Really if you're going to be cleaning a house, leave the house and let it air out you know for a good few hours for you even walk in again with doors open. So that's why you have to have the parts per million low enough where else you'll have these health effects irritation, shortness of breath, chest pain, and this is hi hi use of it of course.

Now, one time use can you get by with it? Yeah, do I suggest it? No. So just make sure to be safe with that. four reasons why you should never use it. They may not work at all.

You know what I rather say is let it talk and speak for itself. I have done laundry, you know how sometimes you may leave laundry and overnight you forgot about it. Oops. And it has this weird smell once you put it in the dryer and you don't notice it. And I've stuck it inside the laundry to get it out over and over and over again. And I just sometimes there was this weird smell I couldn't get out.

I don't know what it was probably maybe Jim socks God, I but I put the ozone generator inside, you know, a little plastic bag. And then I put my clothes in there and I put my generator, put it on for 15 minutes, let it sit, smelled it all gone. So that's me working and proof. And I even did this when we actually when I used to live in apartments in Florida, we had a fire at our apartment and we had smoke damage to one of our mattresses that cost basically 20 $500 it was like this memory foam, you know, custom blah, blah, blah. And I was like, well, we got to recover it. So insurance, you know, saved us from having to go out and buy a new one.

They recovered it for us. And the process cost 1500 dollars. They comped us but I asked the company What did you do get rid of all of this smoke smell it was so terrible. And he goes oh we just stuck it in a plastic bag. Put on an ozone generator We let it run for two days, oh, well, how many parts per million Oh, we put up like 2000 parts per million. And you know, it's in a garage where no one's allowed to enter into.

And when you do, you have to have a breathing mask, because the parts per million are too high. And they charge 1500 dollars for the service. And it's the exact same, you know, kind of models that they're using, that I'm going to show you and that you can use. And that's the whole point is that you need to be able to understand what it's used for as well. Now, I use it also for health, and we'll destroy mold. No, it'll help eliminate and reduce mold.

But you may have to get a physical cleaning, if it's that bad. And it's again, promoting in an environment where this mold can't live or survive. So you may need to do this for three, seven days, find somewhere to go just to make this work for you in certain situations, while you're doing the ozone generation. So, again, it takes time it takes energy It takes the right materials. And that's what it is sometimes, you know, these crews will have to get in there and do an H HVAC or you know, clean up all the mold physically, and then they'll run an ozone generator. So it's kind of all a combination, in a sense.

Now the chemical reaction can be dangerous. Again, that's true. When it's mixed with different chemicals. Again, there was a new carpet in a laboratory setting, it ended up causing organic chemicals in the air. So you need to be careful in the sense of when you run these machines that you're not there, you need to let the air settle, you need to let it come out. But when used for like, in the purpose of just putting in water, again, you're going to have a cup of water and you're going to have certain regulated amounts that we're going to talk about that you drink, you don't go overboard with it.

You need to build up for it. And, you know, that's gonna take five minutes, go put it in a room, you then take that out. Close the door of that room, let it settle for a couple hours, you can't enter that room. That's just safety, right? And so chemical reactions, the parts per million, they don't remove part particulates and that I would more or less agree with because it's not that they remove them that's no it's that the mold dies because it doesn't have a proper environment in which to produce you know more of its food and, you know, keep living off of the environment that it currently is that thrives in. So is it going to remove it?

No, you're gonna have dead spores, dead particles and dead mold, which can then produce more mold because they're going to again, eat off the carcasses and the materials are in the bio organic breakdown materials, etc. So you have to get it removed, you have to have an H back you have to do all that. So it's part of the process and if you need an immediate solution To reduce it, and you can go away for a couple days, I definitely recommend an ozone generator. It just needs to be taken piece in hand. But the whole idea isn't for mold. It's really for drinking within your water.

And that's what it's going to improve in your health. So it's impossible to predict exposure levels. And that's absolutely true. That's why I suggest opening the doors and leaving them open for usually, you know, a couple hours, hopefully you have some screens or something of that nature of the windows. And then you can go through, open those up, leave, and then come back a couple hours later. That's what I suggest doing.

And if we do you know, about once every six months, we'll do that inside of our home. And again, it just keeps it clean, fresh, and it's never had this weird smell. We moved in. And it did, but we did the ozone generator, and we keep up on that every six months and really has not come back at all. So Again, that everything in its own place, are all of these things true? Absolutely.

But you need to keep the perspective in mind that they're true for certain reasons. And as long as you don't violate those reasons, the EPA laws, the regulations of what you should have four parts per million wall, walking through a set environment of an ozone generator going off. You know, having continual use all of that. That's what makes it dangerous. But when you think you use your head, then it's able to benefit every part of your life.
