About the Class
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
- define the concept of a sequence of terms as a function from the positive integers to the real numbers
- write a specific term from the formula for the
term, or a recurrence relation
- describe the behavior of convergent and divergent sequences, through simple examples
- apply mathematical induction to establish properties of sequences
