So what is ergonomics? So, one of the definitions for ergonomics is that it's an applied science concerned with designing and arranging things people use, so that the people and things interact most efficiently and safely. So in the beginning, laptops were a temporary replacement for desktop computers, when employees needed to leave the office and continue to work.
