Sometimes some very simple changes can make a huge difference. Today I'll show you how most people move their mouse, and then I'm going to show you a better way. So are you experiencing any wrist pain for pain or even shoulder pain, I want you to try this. And now move your fingers and your hand around. You can feel all kinds of things moving blood vessels, nerves, tendons, everything is just so close to the surface. So when we work with our arm and our wrist pressed against a hard surface or edge, there is even a lot more pressure going on than what we just felt.
So the way most of us use our mouse is to rest our arm on the table and move the mouse back and forth from the wrist. And the wrist, as you can see, and part of the forearm is resting on a hard edge this Back and forth pressure is irritating the blood vessels, the nerves and the tendons. And we do this day after day after day, year after year. So here's a better way for you to use your mouse. Place your hand a little higher on the mouse so that your wrist and your forearm are not touching the table surface and then move the mouse with the arm. When you're doing this, it's best to work on a surface level where you can keep your shoulders relaxed and your elbows held close to the body.
