We are now ready to start deciding our welcome message. So from settings we are now on automation. You can find this below broadcasting tab and inside automation we will be clicking on welcome message. And the first thing we have to do inside welcome message is to click on Go to Flow Builder. Or you can switch back to basic builder if you want to use that visual interface. But on this class we will be using the Flow Builder because it's much cleaner.

Now I have the sample conversation ready on my notepad. But before we start doing the conversation, if you have your own sample conversation, let me give you a quick background. What are the things you can add on the conversation? This is a text box and this is an image if wanted to add an image, and then a card, a card is an image with a button. And then this one is a gallery. Gallery is a series of card.

So if you add two cards then that will be turned to gallery. This list is not available, so you can use this one. But then if you have audios or videos, you can also add that to your conversation. You should have a file of 20 Mb at max and then if you have a file you would like to add on your conversation then you can have it here and the text delay and this are pro features that we will be discussing on this class. All right, so let's have the sample conversation I have here. So one of the best practice that we were able to discuss is greet the subscriber by the first name.

So let me just copy paste the script that I was able to prepare we will be adding the first name of the subscriber here we will be also adding some emoji to make this fun okay, so our first when the subscriber click on Get Started they will be receiving thanks for reaching out to us first name and then we can add more text. Let's add text typing delay first. You can set the typing delay here but let's keep on have the delays at the three seconds. You can hide or show it by just taking this box. Let's add another text box, you can click the icon here or click here depends on your preference. So let's start editing the text.

Another best practices that I've shared with you is introducing the chat bot. So hi, I'm JJ the name of the chapter this JJ and we introduce the chap JJ as the virtual agent, we can change this Smiley's to a robot face. Then we are starting to set the expectation of this subscriber that JJ is a chat bot because we are comparing JJ to Alexa, which is a voice assistant bot, but JJ is doing it in the chat. way we can add another typing delay here then just drag it over here then add another conversation or text text box. Now we are giving the subscriber a call to action we will be giving the subscriber an instruction what she can do or how the chat bot will be able to help her. So here we said simply swipe the images and tap the buttons below so I don't know how I can help you so JD is talking here.

So let us add the gallery. This is based on the sample conversation I've created. So we will be adding a gallery of images So let's say this chat bot is inspired by a restaurant. So, let me add an image. And then we will be adding a title here like need help, then you can skip the subtitle, but if you have something to write here, you can do so then we will be adding a button. Like for example, the subscriber would like to know, the direction of the restaurant.

So we can send a message right away, or send them to a website like Google Map and then they can also call us the number to get the direction. But on this class, what we can do what we will do is track the action of The subscriber so we will be adding an action here. We will be adding a tag. So let's say collect get direction you will this tags are already prepared beforehand, but you have to, to type it in and then click on new get direction, then you will see that there there will be a notification here that tag has been created. So that's what you will have. So let's say let's click get direction and now we can send a message.

So let's say your response will be We are located that and then insert the address here. Then we can edit this field reply so it means that this step is a response when the subscriber click on Get direction. We can also add a back button here. Let's go back to the starting step and let's add more button. So, to add another button just click on this one Add button and then let's say open ours. You can also add an emoji here like this one.

And by the way you have to take note of the Text count here, the maximum is 20 characters. So you need to be creative to have the titles or the button text up to 20 text character. Let's add some map here to make it more appealing or visually appearing. By the way the buttons we can add three buttons at max. But let's have it this two this two buttons then as I've mentioned earlier, we have to track the actions of the subscriber. So we will be adding another tag Click on Add tag and then if you will be creating a new one so if it's not added here like collect you See if you if it's new, you can just click on new tag.

But since we already have clicked open ours, I'll just choose that one. And then we can now choose another text, choose next step and then send message. So, let's say we're open each day from 9am to 11pm. Okay, so let's have a back button here. Now let's go back to the starting step. We can add another card on this gallery by clicking this arrow and then we have to click on the image to complete the car.

That say you have a menu have food. So let's say let's put here menu. And then let's say you have snacks. Maybe we can add some emoji with emoji. Okay, that's it. So now we have to perform another action so to tag the target action and then add tag.

So let's say collect snacks. Then we will be adding another message We can add a text like choose below or check check our snacks, finger foods are below and then you can add some Moji really depends on you if you if you are fond of emojis and then let's add some gallery again say burger and then you can also add another burger and other french fries here Okay, now you can just click on the arrow and if you want to add the images first and then the title, say burger. You are not required to put a button here. But if you want to add some button if you want to have like Buy button then you can add that. But on this on this app our conversation will just be showing you how to add the images and that the images inside the gallery so let's say french fries.

When you are using a gallery, you can also reorder the cards by dragging it here. All right So let's say we can also add a back button here. All right, so let's go back to the starting step. If you want to see how it looks, you get to zoom in to zoom out, just click on this minus sign. So you will see and you can auto arrange it here. Let's just remove this extra in actions, all right.

So, if you are satisfied with the sample conversation, you can first preview it. Okay, so yeah, if you have some If you will get some error, just have to check those errors that since the Back button isn't attached to any step let's, let's say when they click on back, we will be routed here again. Or if you have another step, you can touch the Back button to that step. Just drag it here for example. You can because this step you can oh you can you can copy this by clicking this one. So for example, yeah just have to attach it to the to this boxes, for example.

Get direction it should be here and then open our should be attached here. Then the Back button if you want is you can remove the sample here, remove the tax the unnecessary tax and then leave the necessary tax needed on that step. So for example, we can reattach it to here. Now there we are reattaching the Back button on this step okay now let's try to preview this sample conversation So we have a snack. So snack substance here. Okay, so let's review it again.

If you need to opt in first you have to click on your name, then you will have this open messenger. Alright, so let's just wait for the conversation to load. It says thanks for reaching out to us and then the first name. Hi, I'm JJ your virtual agent for today. And then I work like Alexa but I'm doing the chat by simply swipe the images and tap the buttons below so I'll know how I can help you then we can click Get direction. All right, so we are located at the address.

Let's go back. Now we can click on open hours. And then let's go back. So it will be easy for the subscriber to go back instead of the subscriber dragging this big chat bot is trying to make the users a user experience better. So now we can swipe it here to see the snacks. So what are the snacks offered?

So the burger and french fries and yeah, so the subscriber can click on back again to Have it's good to be back on the main menu. Now it's seems good. So let's go back to welcome message now we can publish it. Now it's already live. So every time there's a visitor on your Facebook page, click on the Get Started. It will be, this message will appear or it will be sent to them and make sure that this radio button is enabled if you don't want to, to have this message fired or triggered, you can turn it off.
