Children with mental issues need all the support that they can from, you know, the adults around them, but how can you know that a child has mental health issues, it is quite challenging to know whether a child has mental issues, because children also go through normal development which involves, you know, understanding or learning to regulate their emotions. So it becomes quite challenging to identify those signs of symptoms. Another thing as well, you know, there is this lack of awareness because adults do not know and, and, you know, anyone who is not working in mental health may not know these symptoms. So the lack of awareness is very, you know, very, very common for some families. No parents have never experienced mental health issues or they know nothing. They don't know what it is they they don't know the saints.

They know it's sickness, but they don't know the signs and symptoms because They have no, you know, knowledge, they have no experience of it when it comes to professionals, teachers, frontline staff, in primary schools, they do not know. And even secondary schools also, they do not know the signs and symptoms, they lack the elements. I have been asked so many times when I do offer this training to teachers, how can I recognize that a child has mental issues? I have not training for it. You know, I wasn't trained. I know they do experience mental health issues, but what are they?

And how can I know? Because I don't know that I can't refer that is a sign of lack of awareness. Secondly, the whole aspect of metal XPS and normal and normal development is something that is really really tricky, because we do not know I think it's important that we don't make assumptions. I think it's important that we do help the student you know, when we when they're whether they're lagging with a note when we notice that there is something unusual We need to do something about it, we need to be able to support them, and get them through this awful experience. But it's quite tricky. And that is a challenge that we need to go over.

Another thing as well, in institutions in schools and youth centers and you know, anything around that there is a problem of institutional factors. There are no policies in some schools in some settings, organizational settings, there are no policies now for teachers who are, you know, working in schools, there might be no policies at all to help them support them, it might be written, but really, and realistically, there's nothing that can be done when you notice that their child is experiencing mental health issues. Or besides that, you're not given the time the pressure is so much on performance performance, but you know, what's important is who is going to perform the outcomes that will come from this trip. And this shouldn't have to be in good mental health, i times institutional factors which include the support support system. Now, at the moment in the UK, they have designated staff members, but before then there was none.

And there was no support, there was no one to go to the safeguarding and stereo staff, but also just walking on their own intuition that no training in training, like the train that I'm giving now was in there. And at times, you may want to help but, you know, the according to management, that is not a priority. It's not a priority to help this child and that will be challenged great one. Another thing is lack of resources in institutions, they do not have the resources. They don't have the psycho educational resources. So it makes it really really hard to support this children at times could be the family, the parents Don't want to know.

They don't believe in it according to the cultural beliefs, it's not there in their culture, in their notes in their values. And that could be challenged because you can't do it alone. You need the family to be involved. So now that is in terms of challenges or got unto you know, recognizing the mental health difficulties, what is it that you need to do to be able to help this children
