Social proof, this will be the right thing to do. Let's talk about the concept of social proof. If you implement this concept correctly, it is almost guaranteed that you will increase your sales your conversions. If you don't implement this concept, you will miss a lot of sales. I would assume you heard all kinds of examples and people explaining what social proof is and probably how to apply it. I would ask you to tell you brain stop saying, I already know all about social proof and pay close attention here because this lecture will have a very powerful impact on your conversions.

Let's get started. What is social proof? social proof is the positive influence created when someone finds out that others are doing something if others are doing it, it must be the right thing to do right? in marketing. They're different. forms of social proof such as video testimonials, written testimonials, customer or subscriber or visitor counters, reviews and ratings, trust seals in media laws.

And I'm sure you've seen all of these, if you've ever bought something online, and even if you haven't, you've been exposed to these social proof devices. The truth is, if you want to sell high end products, incorporating social proof is a must. But there is one of these forms of social proof that is dominant. It's video testimonials, you need to be using them to sell more. This is by far the most powerful form of social proof. If you already have customers, ask some of them those who are more satisfied to give you a testimonial.

The preferred format is video. But again, a written one will also work. So we need to be clear on this. You are the one asking for testimonials. Your customers won't come in their own volition and say, Hey, your product is great. Would you like me to give you a testimonial to leave your testimonial?

No, this is not how it works, you need to ask. Let me give you an example. Before I launched my premium program, a realized that I needed testimonials if I want to put a price tag for 97. I needed social proof that my students are getting the results I'm promising. However, I didn't have any customer. So here's what I did.

I went ahead and asked a few of my students on Udemy and Skillshare in the guy from my email list. Here's what I said. I'm working on a project and I would really love your input. I explained everything about the program and I said instead of paying 497 would you be interested to get the program for free? Go over it in record a video testimonial. Guess what?

Three people agreed and honestly, I asked him Three people, two of them did videos, and one couldn't do a video because she was camera shy. And she said she would send me an audio file, which work really well as well. Here's the thing, I asked them to record two to three minute video testimonials and it also gave them some main points to talk about. I also asked him to say the name of the program step by step to your first 1000 students. I believe the social proof videos contributed immensely to the sales I've made and I'm making right now. Since I already have premium students who I work with, I can ask them to show video testimonials as well now it is even easier.

I inserted the first three video testimonials in my sales video. And I transcribed them and added them to the sales page, as you can see here on the screen. So people want proof that you can deliver the result or the outcome you promise What I like about these concepts we're talking about here in this section is that they're applicable to any kind of business to any kind of products and services. No matter if you sell an online course a physical product, a mobile app, an E book, a software service. If you're a freelancer sell your own services, no matter the product, these concepts are applicable, and they have been proven to increase conversions. This is not theory, my friend grab these concepts and apply them into your business so you can see some real results.

It is highly unlikely you see a profitable business that doesn't use guarantees or bonuses or special offers or the urgency principle or the concept of social proof. So you need to be using these conversion devices as well. Now, I want to get more specific with you and tell you where the exact place to use social testimonials social proof the number one place is your sales page that's a must. But generally, each page where you ask people to take action, this is your blog your squeeze page. When you log in squeeze page, you're not that critical is your sales page.
