Objectives

Improve marking skills against “wrong-facing” attackers. 
Improve 1v1 skills.

Organisation

Goalkeeper + 4 players (2 defenders and 2 attackers) vs. Goalkeeper + 4 players (2 defenders and 2 attackers). 
Pitch size: 50m x 40 m (30 m) - midline at 25 m (coach is the midline mark).
Offside lines are 10 m from both goals (blue lines).

Procedure

Regular play with offside lines.
Goalkeepers have a maximum of three touches. 
All players have to work and remain in their “own” half. 


Variety

One of the defenders is permitted to attack + one of the attacking players is allowed to defend (cross the midline). 
All dead-balls start with a goalkeeper throw into the attacking half.
Normal play without offside lines (coach marks the midline).
