In the previous lesson, Turning Effectively, we explored some of the techniques players use to turn and assess, yielding the best results. 
We will now try to identify the most effective turn types in the frontal defending position while also looking at some of the common mistakes that players reencounter time and time again.
Why are turns critical?
You should view turns as a basic technique that you have to master to be the type of player who consistently wins duels. 
It is impossible to get good at football if you cannot control and juggle the ball.
In the same way, it is also unthinkable that you will become an excellent 1v1 defensive player if you cannot control your body and turn in an efficient manner.
